In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on traditional engines or cutting-edge automotive systems, your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will make a real impact every day. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and diesel engine repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to complete repairs with precision. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and service recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records and assist with auto estimating to ensure transparency and accuracy in all repairs. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge of powertrains, transmissions, automotive electrical systems, and diesel engines. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Prior experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing training encouraged to stay current with industry advancements. Embark on a rewarding career where your skills drive success!
