Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Master Automotive/Autobody Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires advanced knowledge of auto repair processes and practices. The Master Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining vehicle performance and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair and replace automotive parts, ensuring proper functionality of vehicles. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively. Prepare vehicles for auto body repairs. Assist in preparing vehicles for customer pickup. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear communication regarding vehicle status and necessary repairs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and practices. Basic knowledge of auto body repair and refinishing processes. Strong understanding of automotive service processes and standards. Experience working as a service technician in a dealership or independent shop environment. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods. Familiarity with powertrain components and diesel engine repair is a plus. Ability to maintain organized workspaces while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work with other technicians efficiently. Pay rate commensurate with experience.
