12-Volt Technician / Automotive Electronics Installer Vanguard Automotive Design Orangeburg, NY Job Details Full-time $25 - $40 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Relocation assistance Paid time off Professional development assistance Qualifications Automotive body disassembly Fabrication Teamwork Soldering Attention to detail OEM Full Job Description Vanguard Automotive Design is seeking a motivated and skilled 12-Volt Technician to join our growing team at our flagship customization facility in Orangeburg, NY. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of OEM-level fit and finish when working on high-end vehicles. This position involves the installation and integration of aftermarket automotive electronics and accessories including audio systems, radar/laser systems, lighting, cameras, accessories, and custom electrical solutions. Candidates must be comfortable disassembling and reassembling vehicle interiors without causing damage, while maintaining clean wiring practices and professional installation standards. The ideal candidate is someone who: Has experience with automotive disassembly and reassembly Understands proper 12-volt wiring techniques and electrical troubleshooting Has experience with audio systems, amplifiers, DSPs, lighting, radar systems, and accessory integration Works well in a team-oriented environment Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Has a strong intrinsic drive to constantly improve, learn, and grow Takes pride in producing clean, professional work Can follow direction while also being capable of working independently Experience with fabrication, soldering, OEM integration, CANBUS systems, and high-end vehicle customization is a major plus. Compensation will be based upon experience, skill level, and overall capability. All candidates will be required to complete a two-week paid trial/test-fit period to evaluate workmanship, professionalism, attitude, and compatibility with our team environment.
