Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our vibrant sales team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled service technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and exceptional customer service will drive customer satisfaction, foster trust, and promote repeat business. Duties Greet customers warmly upon arrival and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair recommendations clearly, including auto estimating and service writing, ensuring customers are well-informed about their vehicle's condition Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Upsell appropriate maintenance services and repairs by highlighting benefits that enhance vehicle performance and safety Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service orders and customer interactions Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics to assist in explaining complex repair procedures to customers Promote dealership services proactively to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction remains the top priority Keep detailed records of all service activities, including vehicle history and repair documentation Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and customer relations Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with clients Familiarity with automotive sales techniques to assist in automobile sales when appropriate Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly to customers of varying levels of automotive knowledge Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all financial activities Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care!
