Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems and technologies, contributing to a team dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and other key components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems efficiently. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components to ensure vehicle safety features are functioning correctly. Perform wheel alignments and tire rotations to optimize vehicle handling and safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and interpreting schematics for electrical systems. Experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, transmissions, and powertrain components is highly desirable. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery confidently. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
