Inc. Hiring for Mechanics, Parts Counter Sales and CDL Driver for our two locations•232 E Old Country Rd, Riverhead, NY 11901 & 1 Henrietta Street Hicksvill e, NY 11801 We are a leading Long Island Equipment Dealer & Distributor since 1912. Our dealership represents equipment sales, service and parts support for product lines serving the construction, commercial landscape, agricultural, golf and sports turf equipment markets.
PARTS COUNTER SALES
$20.00•35.00 Parts Duties include but are not limited to: Process parts orders via customer visits, telephone calls, emails, faxes, etc. Look up parts using various online catalogs, manuals & telephone inquiries. Process parts returns with various suppliers. Receive & check in parts orders.
MECHANICS
$22.00•35.00/HOUR Mechanic Duties but are not limited to: Knowledge of diesel engines, basic hydraulics, and 12/24-volt electrical systems. Display a commitment to learning new technologies. Complete basic mechanical services like oil changes, filter replacements, equipment setups and more. Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Determine overall condition of machines through inspections. Restore equipment to working order. Should own basic tools for typical service repairs. Candidates should have good customer service & communication skills & a valid driver's license for all positions.
CDL DRIVER
Pay:
$70,000.00•$75,000.00 per year Candidate must have current and valid CDL license (no violations). Minimum CDL license requirement to be a Class B with air brake certification. Ability to operate various forklifts. Ability to load and unload various sized equipment for agricultural, construction, golf and sports turf industry. Ability to secure equipment according to DOT requirements. Maintain vehicle logs according to DOT requirements. Ensure transport vehicle exterior and interior are organized, neat and clean. Assist with general yard maintenance, etc. when required.
