Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior or Master GM Truck Technician to join our dynamic service team. This role is perfect for a highly skilled mechanic who excels in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining GM cars and trucks. Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on trucks, including engine, transmission, hydraulics, suspension, and HVAC components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven dealership experience. Extensive mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex issues across various equipment types. Strong fabrication skills including welding and soldering; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic software, and maintenance procedures. Ability to lift heavy components safely and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach. Valid certifications related to automotive repair are preferred.
