Safety is a top priority at HMA, as we continuously meet and strive to exceed all federal, state, and local safety standards, reinforced through ongoing training and daily practices. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role located in Schaghticoke, NY. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy equipment and machinery. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Mechanic may also be expected to manage repair schedules and maintain detailed service records. Qualifications Experience in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of mechanical systems and equipment Proficiency in working with Heavy Equipment, including operation, diagnostics, and repairs Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions effectively A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in an on-site environment Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Prior experience in related industries and possession of relevant certifications is highly desirable
