Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and alignment adjustments to keep vehicles in optimal condition. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on diverse vehicle makes and models. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while providing excellent customer service by explaining work performed clearly. Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and parts used to support accurate auto estimating and warranty claims. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of ADAS systems, schematics reading, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle alignment procedures. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
