Lube Technician Full-Time | $22 - $25.00/hour | Fleet Department | Yonkers, NY Position Summary The Lube Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all company-owned vehicles, specialty vehicles under contract agreements, and auxiliary and shop equipment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Empress fleet through adherence to the company's preventative maintenance program. Major Duties & Responsibilities Perform all activities required by the company's preventative maintenance program Maintain and service all company-owned vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation Remove vehicles from service as necessary for preventative maintenance or repairs Complete all work orders and failure reports accurately and in a timely manner Safeguard tools, equipment, parts, and supplies in accordance with company standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA Promote and foster the mission, vision, and values of Empress Ambulance Service Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Completed or currently enrolled in a technical school program in automotive or diesel repair Prompt, regular attendance required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Occasional kneeling, stooping, bending, and leaning Frequent use of hearing, clear speech, reaching, and manual dexterity Working Environment This position involves both indoor and outdoor work with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, fumes, odors, temperature changes, extended hours, noise, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
