Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service, including tire service and oil changes. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our dealership and enhance the customer experience. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Maintain accurate records of services performed on vehicles. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to clients. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow in the service department. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Assist in sales by recommending additional services based on vehicle condition. Skills Proficiency in tire service and automotive repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients. Experience as a service technician in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Sales skills are a plus to help promote additional services offered by the dealership.
