SERVICE ADVISOR Millennium Transmission & Auto Care - Akron, Ohio Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Growth Opportunity Millennium Transmission & Auto Care has proudly served the Akron community for nearly 28 years. We are known for honest recommendations, strong customer relationships, and high-quality automotive repair. As our shop continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our fast-paced front office team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our skilled technicians. This is a high-energy position that requires strong communication skills, urgency, organization, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Our front office moves quickly, and we need someone who can stay professional, upbeat, and detail-oriented while handling multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain repair recommendations clearly, including estimates for services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, engine repairs, suspension work, and more. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining transparency. Prepare detailed service estimates using auto estimating software and write clear service orders. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial dealings. Prioritize tasks effectively while handling phones, walk-in customers, technicians, parts deliveries, and scheduling needs Foster strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service writing and automotive advice that builds trust and confidence.
