Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including diesel engines, powertrains, and GM vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Complete wheel alignments and vehicle suspension adjustments to manufacturer specifications for improved handling and safety. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent shop backgrounds preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with diesel engines and performing engine repairs or rebuilds. Familiarity with ADAS systems, vehicle alignment techniques, and auto body repair is a plus. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize automotive diagnostic software effectively. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for automotive repair tasks. Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship in every repair performed.
