Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Cashier/Receptionist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, managing front desk operations, handling customer inquiries, and supporting administrative functions to ensure a smooth service experience. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing daily tasks. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner. Computes customer bills. Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received. Makes change and issues receipts to customers. Provides refunds or credit invoices to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers. Reconciles the cash drawer daily. Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refers them to someone who can. Ensure that customer complaints are handled promptly, with genuine concern and according to dealership guidelines. Provides clerical assistance to departments as needed. Assist in submitting extended contracts for payment Works with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value and any changes in price. Answer the department phone, transfer calls to the people requested or best suited to take the calls and take messages when the needed personnel are not available. Make appointments for service department. Maintains a professional appearance. Keep your work area neat and clean. Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare or integrity of the dealership. (Employees or customers). Perform any other administrative tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 6-12 months previous work experience (preferred). Demonstrated customer service skills. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous industry experience (preferred). Who should apply? We are looking for a motivated team player with strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants are also required to have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Other requirements include completing and passing both a background and drug test as a condition of employment.
