Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining German Vehicles including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW. Ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics who would like to switch to a small shop environment with Salary pay. Pay will be based on experience level etc. I'm sure you understand. Ignore the pay scale advertised as we have to put something in there for the ad. We pay generously. We don't work weekends. We are usually out early on Fridays. We would like to keep it that way. Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and powertrain repairs. Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair or replace mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Perform wheel alignments and calibrations to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Stay current with industry advancements such as diesel engine repair, automotive electrical systems, and GM vehicle specifications to provide top-tier service. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models with a focus on German Vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW) Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive schematics, diagnostics software Service technician experience demonstrating proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
