Walgre Transport Inc. is currently seeking highly motivated and an experienced Trailer Mechanic Technician with a minimum of 2 years of prior experience. Preferably someone with previous Trailer repair shop / dealership experience. We are in search of highly skilled technicians, with a compensation structure that can be extremely rewarding. Shift:

Shop Hours - Monday-Sunday 8am-6pm Work shifts are normally 8-10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers Repair or replace faulty parts and components Weld and solder parts as needed Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation Evaluate and diagnose mechanical & electrical problems Examine parts for damage or excessive wear Dismantle, reassemble, and fabricate repairs on semi-trailers Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance

Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Trailer body and/or Welding and Fabrication experience Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients

Requirement:

You must own your own tools You must successfully pass a Background and Drug Screening You must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving history Please note that this job may require heavy lifting and physical exertion. It is important for candidates to have the necessary strength and stamina to perform the duties of a Trailer Mechanic effectively.
