Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help customers get back on the road with confidence, while you grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, powertrain components, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Complete vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, and steering/suspension adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Service GM vehicles and other makes/models by performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Assist in auto estimating processes to determine repair costs accurately while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair across various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software, schematics reading, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools safely and effectively. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and experience in a fast-paced repair environment is a plus.
