In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier customer service, and drive the shop's overall performance. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled technicians, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of automotive repair and maintenance. Duties Lead and motivate a team of service technicians and mechanics to deliver exceptional automotive repairs and services. Manage daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control to maximize efficiency. Oversee all aspects of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, alignments. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Drive customer satisfaction by providing expert advice on vehicle issues, upselling additional services like auto body repair or air brake systems when appropriate. Handle auto estimating and service writing to accurately assess repairs and communicate effectively with customers. Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies; manage cash handling procedures securely. Promote a sales-oriented culture by encouraging vehicle sales while maintaining high-quality service standards. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire services, engines, shocks & struts, alignment, air brake systems. Hands-on mechanic experience combined with excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing processes. Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of technicians and support staff. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members alike. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
