Trailer Mechanic

Findlay Warehousing is a family-owned warehousing and logistics company looking to add an experienced Tractor-Trailer Mechanic to our team. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience working on semi-trailers who takes pride in quality work, safety, and reliability. This position focuses on maintaining and repairing our trailer fleet to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Job Responsibilities Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on semi‑trailers Diagnose and repair: Brakes, air systems, suspension Lights and basic electrical systems Tires, wheels, hubs, and landing gear Doors, floors, roofs, and structural components Complete PM inspections and assist with DOT compliance Document repairs and maintenance performed Maintain a clean and safe work area Work with operations and management to prioritize repairs Qualifications Previous experience working on semi‑trailers is required Working knowledge of trailer brake systems and air systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Dependable attendance and strong safety mindset Valid driver's license required, CDL-A is a plus Schedule & Work Environment Full‑time, daytime hours Occasional overtime may be required Indoor/outdoor shop environment Not a roadside or mobile repair position Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Stable, year‑round work Opportunity to grow with a long‑standing company Why Work for Findlay Warehousing?
