Job Description
Installing PTO's, pumps, lines and hoses. Installing electrical components on vehicles to include PTO controls, Truck body accessories and 12 volt lighting systems. Part time leading to full time. Other experience in heavy truck repair and building is a plus. Pay to match experience. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and tractors Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on vehicle electronics using schematics and diagnostic tools Conduct routine maintenance tasks including fluid changes, filter replacements, brake repairs, suspension checks, and wheel alignments Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, welding equipment, and power tools to meet specific repair needs Inspect and service diesel engines, transmissions, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, air brakes, and other vehicle components Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts or hoists while adhering to safety protocols Proven dealership or heavy equipment service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, or industrial equipment Skilled in reading schematics and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting vehicle electronics Familiarity with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform maintenance tasks involving power tools and hand tools Knowledge of hydraulics systems, suspension components, transmissions, tire service, and brake repair processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Join us in a fast-paced environment where your technical expertise makes a real difference!
