Full-Time Schedule:
2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM-12:30 AM We are hiring a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our Springfield operation. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet to ensure safe, reliable operation and DOT compliance. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy- and medium-duty vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Complete DOT inspections and maintenance documentation Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment Maintain a clean, safe work environment Pay & Benefits $33.28/hour Medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Company-provided uniforms, and PPE Career growth and promotion opportunities CDL Requirement Class A CDL required Don't have a CDL yet? The company will pay for Class A CDL training after successful completion of the probationary period High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience preferred with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Refrigeration license preferred Mechanic Certifications preferred. Candidate must possess ability to obtain Class A CDL upon successful completion of probationary period. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, crawl required for virtually the entire shift Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is required. Manipulation of tools, equipment and truck component is required Must be computer literate, and have experience with engine, ABS, transmission, etc. diagnostic equipment and software Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment with moderate to high noise volume Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays Be able to effectively work in a team environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal) An Equal Opportunity Employer
