Job Description

Job Summary Serpentini of Strongsville is seeking motivated and skilled flat-rate technicians to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance services efficiently and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly by diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and adhering to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and automotive skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality service. Responsibilities Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Perform repairs on various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, powertrain, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct alignment procedures, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and heavy lifting tasks safely with appropriate tools and equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to restore vehicles to optimal condition. Follow manufacturer specifications for automotive service, engine system repair, and maintenance procedures. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Ensure all repairs meet quality standards while maintaining productivity targets within flat rate time guidelines. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive engine systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, heavy lifting, welding, and auto body repair is advantageous. Skilled in using schematics for diagnostics and repairs on GM vehicles or similar brands. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism during vehicle repairs. Prior experience in automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and diesel engine repair is a plus.
