Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical, and braking systems. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic components effectively. Conduct vehicle alignment, suspension system repairs, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal handling and safety. Repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other complex mechanical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Demonstrated experience with vehicle maintenance, including powertrain, transmission systems, and vehicle suspension repairs. Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive electrical systems diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; diesel engine repair experience is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems and service procedures.
