  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Service Department Assistant / Rental Car Administrator to join our dynamic team.
In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and organized backbone of our service and rental operations, ensuring smooth daily workflows and exceptional customer experiences. Your proactive approach will help coordinate vehicle rentals, manage administrative tasks, and support the overall efficiency of our service department. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills while contributing to a fast-paced automotive environment. Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact at the rental desk, welcoming customers and visitors with professionalism and enthusiasm Use multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and providing excellent customer support Oversee rental car reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain organized filing systems for rental agreements, service records, and other essential documents Utilize computer skills to input data into booking systems, update customer records, and perform bookkeeping tasks. Coordinate calendar management for service appointments, vehicle pickups, and drop-offs to ensure timely operations Support office management duties such as proofreading documents, managing supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally Experience with data entry, filing, and basic bookkeeping.
