Job Description

Summary:
The Parts and Truck Detail Associate is responsible for supporting fleet operations through truck detailing, parts support, and general shop and terminal assistance activities. This position maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of company equipment by thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting truck interiors, removing debris and odors, and ensuring cab areas meet company standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist mechanics and maintenance personnel with assigned shop duties and operational needs. Assist with parts and inventory management as assigned Drive automobiles and trucks as needed for repositioning, servicing, or operational support. Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, flooring, and seats within truck interiors. Shampoo or steam clean fabric, upholstery, and other interior surfaces to remove stains, dirt, and odors. Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas including steering wheels, gear shifters, controls, door handles, and seat belts. Clean all windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces inside the truck to ensure clear visibility and professional appearance. Remove trash, debris, pet hair, and buildup from truck interiors and storage compartments. Wipe down dashboards, door panels, consoles, and all accessible interior surfaces. Adjust, clean, and inspect seats and interior components for cleanliness and condition. Use air fresheners, ozone treatments, or other approved products to neutralize odors. Check for scratches, damage, or interior concerns and report issues as needed. Clean and organize storage areas, shelves, compartments, and workspaces within the shop or truck interiors. Maintain, clean, and properly store all detailing tools, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Perform occasional terminal cleaning duties including restrooms, showers, floors, windows, and common areas (Mustang terminal as needed). Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; required
Experience:
