PNW Automotive is looking for a dependable Automotive Technician who takes pride in diagnosing vehicles accurately, performing quality repairs, and treating customers' vehicles with care and respect. We're a family-owned, European-focused repair shop serving Astoria and the surrounding communities. We specialize in BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Volvo, and Subaru, while also servicing many domestic and Asian vehicles. Our shop is equipped with professional diagnostic tools, modern equipment, and a team that believes in fixing vehicles correctly the first time. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle concerns, from maintenance services to complex drivability and electrical issues Perform thorough digital vehicle inspections with clear notes, photos, and recommendations Use diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify vehicle faults Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and teammates Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Test drive and verify repairs when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow established shop processes and documentation procedures What We're Looking For Required 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience Strong, confident mechanical skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable attendance and professional attitude Ability to document inspections, diagnostics, and repairs thoroughly Comfortable with computers, you'll receive a laptop and you'll use it daily.
