In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to troubleshoot complex automotive systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians passionate about automotive repair and eager to grow their career in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Execute wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer standards. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly with customers. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and general inspections to uphold high standards of automotive service. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in a fast-paced automotive environment. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics software. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid technician certification(s) or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly desirable.
