Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician - B Level to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. The B level Technician at Dusty's Transmissions builds upon the foundational skills of the C level Technician, advancing to more complex diagnostic and repair tasks while taking on leadership and mentorship responsibilities. This mid-level position requires refined technical expertise, efficient workflow management, and a collaborative mindset to support team and shop productivity. The B level Technician actively contributes to a positive shop environment by mentoring C level Technicians, enhancing processes, and delivering high-quality repairs. The B level Technician reports to the Working Foreman Technician. Responsibilities A.
Advanced Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Perform intermediate to advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, including transmission services, suspension repairs, and detailed engine diagnostics.
  • Use advanced tools and techniques to address mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure all work aligns with Dusty's Transmissions' quality and safety standards, providing reliable vehicle performance.
B.
Customer Trust:
  • Ensure that all advanced repairs and maintenance meet Dusty's high standards for safety and reliability.
  • Verify tasks completed by C level Technicians, ensuring vehicles are ready for delivery and meet quality benchmarks.
  • Represent the company professionally, contributing to its reputation for excellence in every interaction.
C.
Efficiency and Contribution:
  • Balance speed and accuracy to complete tasks promptly while minimizing rework and maintaining high standards.
  • Manage resources, including tools and parts, to optimize cost-efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process enhancements.

Pay:
$24.88 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
