The role focuses on supporting daily workflow, keeping the shop organized, and learning hands-on automotive skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist automotive technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks Perform basic vehicle checks and routine service support (oil changes, tire checks, fluid top-offs) Clean and organize the workshop, tools, and service bays Move vehicles safely within the shop area when needed Help with parts handling, inventory, and organization Dispose of waste materials according to safety procedures Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Requirements Interest in automotive repair and mechanical work Ability to follow instructions and learn on the job Basic physical ability to lift tools and parts when needed Strong reliability and punctuality Ability to work in a team environment Preferred Skills Previous shop, automotive, or mechanical experience Basic understanding of vehicle systems Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Safety-conscious attitude Work Environment Automotive repair shop setting Exposure to tools, machinery, grease, and vehicle fluids Standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity required Fast-paced, hands-on technical environment Team-based shop operations Career Progression This role can lead to opportunities such as: Automotive Technician Lube Technician Service Technician Performance Specialist Shop Foreman Service Manager About the Company Emerald Performance is an automotive service provider specializing in vehicle performance, maintenance, and repair services.
