This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles, utilizing your extensive mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with precision and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Your deep knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, powertrain, and Engine will be essential in delivering top-tier service. •Must have at least 7+ years on-the-job experience as an Automotive Technician . European and or Domestic vehicle repair experience is a must!!! Sprinter vans and Light Duty Diesel a plus.
Pay:
Hybrid Flat Rate. Base pay up to $20 per hour for showing up and worked hours. Being on time scheduled time. Attendance. Flat Rate of $10 to $45 per hour flat rate depending on experience, tools and following shop processes. No come backs, meeting shop goals and flat rate goals, and assisting others. (Yes there will proving time) Flat Rate Bonus Available, such as $4/$7 added to the above amounts. Message for details. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components such as engines (including diesel engines), transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety features. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems effectively. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections. Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet quality standards while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally. Requirements Minimum of seven years' experience working as an automotive technician in a dealership or similar environment. Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain repair, and vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to perform diesel engine repairs and auto body repairs as needed. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid certification in automotive repair (such as ASE certification) is highly desirable.
