Position Summary:

Five Star Mitsubishi is seeking skilled and motivated Service Technicians to join our expanding team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles while ensuring a high level of quality service. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering reliable and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities:

Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately according to dealership and manufacturer standards. Diagnose vehicle problems and malfunctions using diagnostic tools, computer software, and other testing equipment. Carry out repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning systems. Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about vehicle issues, repair timelines, and necessary parts or labor. Perform warranty and recall repairs as per manufacturer guidelines. Test and ensure proper functionality of all repaired vehicles before returning them to customers. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Stay current on the latest technical information and updates from Mitsubishi and other manufacturers. Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols while working in the shop.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and repair software. Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
