Job Description
NJE Auto Service seeks a friendly, organized, and reliable Mechanic Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers. This solo role supports daily office functions by managing appointments, invoicing, payments, and customer communications both in-person and via phone and email. Reporting to the Office Manager, the ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses industry-specific tools to ensure efficient service delivery. Responsibilities Answer phones and assist customers in person, by phone, and email Schedule and manage service appointments using auto shop software Create and manage invoices for services rendered Process customer payments and billing accurately Maintain organized customer records Provide excellent customer service and support daily office operations Required Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer proficiency Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Organized and detail-oriented Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of customer service experience High school diploma or equivalent Experience with customer service, communication, and multitasking Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
