Job Description
Restoration Automotive shop is currently looking for an experienced Automotive Restoration Technician. We have a plenty of work for the right person! Must be reliable, creative, a team player, and have verifiable experience. Experience in classic car restoration is a must. Welding and fabrication experience is great. Must be able to think outside of the box and take direction. Must be efficient. Must have your own tools! I have 1 position available asap. Required experience:
10 years Job Summary The Vehicle Restoration Technician's responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Inspecting vehicles to determine adjustments and repairs that are needed and reassemble equipment to keep vehicles repaired, safe and in good working condition.
- Fabricate, assemble or disassemble vehicles using hand tools.
- Perform facilities repairs and maintenance.
- Maintaining welding machines or equipment. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces and under a vehicle while lying on your back , lift, lower and carry items that typically weigh 25 - 50 pounds without assistance and 75 pounds with assistance, varying distances and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions. Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an automotive training program.
- Vocational or technical school preferred.
- Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes. Tools must meet or exceed minimum tool list
- Valid License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
