Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a KIA Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace powertrain components such as engines and transmissions, ensuring optimal performance. Perform wheel alignments and brake services to enhance vehicle safety and handling. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, update auto estimating systems, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, and KIA vehicle specifications is highly desirable. Skilled in reading schematics, interpreting diagnostic codes, and performing automotive diagnostics with modern equipment. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and preventive care. Familiarity with automotive repair standards for transmissions, powertrains, alignments, and electrical systems. Customer service skills that foster trust and clear communication with clients about repairs needed and estimates provided.
