AM Job Description:

Hiring Mechanical Assembly Technicians to build and assemble custom heavy haul trailers in a shop environment. This is a hands-on role working with tools, prints, and mechanical systems to complete final trailer builds. Strong opportunity to learn additional skills like blasting, paint prep, and future welding.

Responsibilities:

Assemble trailer components using blueprints and work instructions Install mechanical parts, hardware, and structural components Connect hydraulic lines, fittings, and assist with basic wiring Work with electrical, pneumatic, and trailer system components Mount wheels, steering systems, and related assemblies Use cranes and shop equipment as needed Ensure proper alignment, routing, and overall build quality

Qualifications:

Experience with mechanical assembly, automotive, or heavy equipment preferred Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Comfortable with hand and power tools Basic knowledge of hydraulics, wiring, or pneumatics is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Work Environment:

Shop setting with noise and temperature changes Steel-toed boots required No cell phones permitted on production floor Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00
