Job Title:

Trailer Assembler Job Description As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for the final assembly of custom-designed trailers. This role requires the use of hand and power tools while working from blueprints. Custom shop with a wide range of job duties. Responsibilities Perform final assembly of custom heavy haul trailers using hand and power tools. Work from blueprints to ensure accurate and safe assembly processes. Install hydraulic fittings, control wiring, and align trailer components. Handle general trailer functions, including pneumatics and steering components. Use and read tape measures accurately. Operate cranes for wheel installation and alignment. Adhere to company standards on hose routing and trailer electric systems. Potential cross-training in paint prep/blasting and welding/fabrication. #aerojobsPAtrades26 Work Environment Work in both shop and assembly environments, which may be loud and subject to varying temperatures. First shift runs Monday-Friday from 6am-2:30pm, and the second shift is Monday-Thursday from 2:00pm-12:00am, with optional overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
