Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic, Technician, and Certified Safety Inspector, where your expertise will drive vehicle safety and performance to new heights! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and operate at peak efficiency. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will help keep our customers safe and satisfied. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines (diesel and gasoline), transmissions, powertrains, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical components Execute maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in optimal condition Repair or replace auto body components and perform welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and safety in mind Conduct safety inspections adhering to certification standards to ensure vehicles meet all regulatory requirements before they leave the shop Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to provide cutting-edge service Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines along with vehicle electrical systems Experience working with schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and repair manuals Certification as a Safety Inspector or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions Knowledge of ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, auto body repair techniques, and maintenance best practices Not required but preferred: Bilingual Offering 1099 Join us in delivering exceptional automotive service while ensuring safety standards are met every step of the way! Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
