Job Description
Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or similar environment. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair techniques. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in the automotive industry. Ability to transmit information clearly to both customers and team members regarding vehicle status and repairs needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous. The Automotive Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake services, and tire alignments. Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and any customer interactions. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimates for repair costs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership standards during all repair processes. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
