In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational and reliable, supporting our commitment to excellent service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for heavy machinery, automotive diagnostics, and hands-on repairs to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics, electrical testing, and mechanical assessments. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and other critical components. Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Service a variety of machinery including forklifts, , industrial equipment, and tractor-trailers. Troubleshoot complex issues involving electrical systems, hydraulics, air brakes, alignment, shocks & struts, and other specialized systems. Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, and replacing tires on heavy equipment and vehicles. Maintain detailed service records and follow schematics to ensure precise repairs; adhere to safety standards at all times. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and heavy equipment maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer specifications and advanced diagnostics. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; ability to interpret electrical diagrams is essential. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiarity with power tools is required. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, and tire service. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts safely; industrial equipment operation experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions; commitment to safety protocols at all times.
