Automotive Technician - Mechanical Service

Duties Perform comprehensive mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models. Conduct wheel alignments, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and powertrain repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs accurately and efficiently. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports to troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service. Experience Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in mechanical repair. Skilled in reading schematics and performing diagnostics using modern automotive diagnostic tools. Hands-on experience with transmissions, diesel engine repair, welding, and general vehicle maintenance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
