Competitive pay based on experience and certifications About Us J&D Automotive Repair is a growing, customer-focused repair facility dedicated to providing high-quality automotive service and honest repairs. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and wants to be part of a professional team environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, and scheduled maintenance. Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently. Perform brake, steering, suspension, engine, cooling system, and electrical repairs. Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information to troubleshoot vehicle issues. Conduct Pennsylvania State Safety and Emissions Inspections (preferred but not required). Perform vehicle inspections and provide detailed findings and recommendations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all shop procedures and safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs. Qualifications Previous automotive repair experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills. Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision. Experience using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. Pennsylvania Safety and Emissions Inspection License preferred.
