Job Description

Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Mentor
  • Now Hiring Are you the technician everyone else in the shop turns to when they're stuck?
Do you have 10+ years of experience and a passion not only for fixing vehicles but also for shaping the next generation of technicians? Glenshaw Auto Service is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a Lead Technician who wants to play a bigger role than just turning wrenches. This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in their craft, sets the standard for quality, and enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping less-experienced techs build real careers. We're an independent shop (with three locations) known for honest work and strong community ties. Our work includes ADAS, Hybrids, EVs, and EV fleet vehicles — and as the industry evolves, we want a leader who can help our team evolve with it. If you're a seasoned pro who's ready to lead from the front, this is the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead by example with diagnostics, repairs, and quality control
  • Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices
  • Help develop shop processes and best practices
  • Assist with complex diagnostics and problem-solving
  • Support continued training in EV/Hybrid and advanced vehicle systems
  • Maintain the high standards our customers trust
