Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and provide expert guidance on recommended services. Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership management software, clearly explaining repair options and costs. Coordinate with service technicians to schedule repairs, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high-quality standards. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value. Manage service write-ups efficiently, documenting all customer interactions and vehicle information accurately. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining accurate financial records. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is essential for success in this role. Familiarity with automotive sales processes and vehicle maintenance schedules enhances your effectiveness as an advisor. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, suspension systems, tire services, and automotive repair techniques is highly advantageous. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating integrity and attention to detail.
