Automotive Technician

Fairway Motors in Hazleton is looking for an

EXPERIENCED

service technician for our Chevrolet service department. Friendly place to work. Family owned and operated since 1960.

Paid Factory Training Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies Using diagnostic tools and special service equipment, test drive vehicles Diagnosing & repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc Communicate with the service advisors so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Electrical diagnostics experience preferred but not required Strong automotive background Strong teamwork skills Must have valid driver's license

Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals Basic computer and internet literacy Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools Use computer diagnostic equipment
