Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service / Parts Specialist, where your expertise will drive exceptional customer experiences and ensure the smooth operation of our service and parts department. In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between customers, technicians, and parts inventory, providing knowledgeable guidance on vehicle repairs, maintenance, and parts sales. Duties Assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories for their vehicles, providing expert advice based on mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics. Assist with inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reordering to meet service demands. Support service technicians by sourcing parts quickly and accurately to facilitate efficient vehicle repairs. Data Entry Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, air brakes, suspension work, and auto body repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Process cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service during busy periods. Collaborate with the sales team to promote automobile sales when appropriate, leveraging automotive repair knowledge to assist customers in making informed decisions. Skills Dealership experience with a understanding of automotive service and parts operations. Knowledge covering transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, diesel engine repair, and auto body work. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating and service writing to accurately document repairs and generate detailed invoices. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and inventory management systems. Strong sales skills with a focus on automobile sales when applicable.
