Powersports Service Technician

We are currently seeking a Powersports Service Technician to join our team at our Muncy, PA location. If you are an experienced powersports or automotive mechanic, we want to speak with you! Job Overview:

Install accessories for new sales and counter customers. Prep new machines for inventory and presold units. Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports vehicles. Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications. Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers. Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services. Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job. Safely and effectively operate all shop equipment and tools. Explain diagnostic test results to Service Advisor or Manager, and if necessary, the customer. Perform test rides and other tests. Including ORV and Motorcycles. Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by management. Be willing to perform work outside the mechanic duties as determined by Manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Preferred technical degree in related field Willingness to complete all paid, required online and occasional classroom training courses related to the brands we sell, in a timely manner Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic mechanic tools minimally Strong computer skills with diagnostic and data entry knowledge Valid Class M Driver's License (or ability to obtain) Acceptable Driving Record PA State Inspection License or willingness to obtain Estimated hourly rate: $20 - $30/hour (dependent on experience)
