Job Title:
Automotive Mechanic Overview:
Join our team as an Automotive and/or Diesel Mechanic and be part of a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your skills and expertise will be valued. As an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Repair and replace parts as needed, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems
  • Weld components when necessary to ensure vehicle integrity
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS systems
  • Work on diesel engines and possess knowledge of diesel engine repair
Skills:
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
  • Experience as a mechanic in the automotive industry
  • Ability to perform welding tasks for vehicle repairs
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
  • Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive repair is a plus
  • PA State Inspection and Emission Licenses or willing to obtain within one year from date of hire
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
