Job Summary Are you tired of working nights and weekends? Do you want paid what you are worth? Are your skills being wasted where you are now? We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their automotive needs. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to both customers and technicians. Duties Greet customers promptly and courteously, assessing their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and costs to customers. Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-ups. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Assist in managing the service department workflow to enhance efficiency. Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques to provide informed recommendations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive service writing or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and maintenance services including brake repair, diesel engine repair, tire service, and auto body repair. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and other team members. Experience in upselling services is a plus. Familiarity with auto service management software is advantageous. A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning.
