Automotive Body Shop Technician

Piazza Honda of Springfield is seeking experienced a Body Shop Technician to join our team of professionals in our high-volume, climate-controlled Body Shop. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN

(include but are not limited to): Perform work including structural repairs and welding as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy Work in conjunction with the shop estimator and insurance estimators to fully assess damage to a vehicle Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform and document repair Communicate with department manager and estimator to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if supplemental repairs are required Road-test vehicles when required Notify estimator(s) and manager immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN ROLE

Self-Motivated Team Player Dependability Customer Service Skills Service Excellence Attitude Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills Strong automotive mechanical diagnosis and repair experience A valid State Driver's License and ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check are required for employment.
