  • Full-time Job Summary Memorial Highway Chevrolet a family 0wned dealership is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team.
Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. Duties Perform diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions and electrical systems with attention to detail. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Complete a accurate estimate and communicate repair findings to the service advisor. Qualifications Proven dealership service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience working with schematics, automotive diagnostics software, and calibration of ADAS features. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety standards.
